The BTCC Mini rooftop spoiler was inspired by the British Touring Car Championship cars, which have very similar spoilers. The design was made smaller for the Mini roof, and is an excellent alternative to the more common Slimline spoilers available. The spoiler is fitted to the roof above the rear gutter, with the endcaps hanging down near to the side gutter. Fitting is a very simple matter, of carefully lowering the rear section of the headlining, and drilling 4 small holes in the roof through which the spoiler is secured by self tapping screws. Sikaflex or a similar bonding product is then used to bond and seal the spoiler. Fitting this spoiler takes around half an hour to an hour, and required only a drill, screwdriver, and some sikaflex.
