The main console that we sell is based very heavily on that fitted to the so-called Mini Specials of 1979 (V reg). This black fibreglass moulding fits over the heater, central switch gear, and gearstick. It makes the car feel more comfortable, allows somewhere to fit radios, speakers, electric window switches, powerpoints (cigarette lighters) for mobile phones or clocks etc.

These are supplied blank (i.e. there are no holes drilled) so that they are more versatile, and can better meet the needs of customers. Cutting the holes is a fairly straight forward matter of drilling some holes, and filing them to a smooth finish.

It should normally take no longer than 2 hours to customise the blank console to your specific needs and fit it to the car.

Also available are heater blanking plates, which block off the central exit to the heater and force the hot air out the two side exits. This is particularly useful to avoid hot air being blown onto any electrical items that have been fitted.

We also supply the "glovebox" which was also fitted to the Mini Specials, which hangs below the parcel shelf on the passenger side of the car. It has no door, but provides useful extra storage, and has the same grained finish that the console does.

The full Console Package includes the console, glovebox and heater blanking mouldings. All are also available individually.
