There are three basic dashboards that we do for the Mini, two are designed for the three instrument dashboard, and the third is a replica of the dash fitted to ERA Turbo Minis produced in 1989/90. 3 Instrument Dash. This is available in carbon fibre for a modern classy race look, or in black fibreglass for covering. Both mouldings fit the same as walnut dashboards, and are designed for use in conjunction with the later type (B reg onwards) upper and lower dash rolls. There is provision for a radio, although a radio slot blanking plate is also included. Glovebox door is also included and is designed for items placed in the glovebox to sit on the original parcel shelf. ERA Dashboard. The ERA is designed for covering in foam and then leather or leathercloth, but is significantly better than the original moulding. This consists of: Main Dash moulding, Main instrument cowl, Glovebox door, cup holder, and glovebox internal. There is provision for 6 small instruments (standard 52mm size), although any of these can be blanked of prior to covering if not required. |
