The RST bonnet, is again a very good seller, featuring a pair of moulded in bonnet vents. The name RST comes from the original source for the bonnet vents, which is the Escort RS Turbo. A pair of vents are fitted symmetrically on the bonnet. The vents are full depth vents and are fitted correctly as they were on the Escort. Many copies available elsewhere feature stick-on vents, blended out with filler. These tend to look very cheap any nasty. The vents come closed off, so that water does not enter the engine bay. Customers requiring functional vents must simply cut out the ends of the vents.
