The smooth bonnet was inspired by customised cars where the shells are "shaved" and deseamed. The centre ridge has been removed for a smooth look. It is surprising how much difference this little change can make to the look of the front of the car just on its own. When combined with deseaming or shaving work (removing unnecessary holes, and protrusions) it can give a very special look to the car. It is quite a complex task to remove the centre ridge from a steel bonnet, and so this fibreglass version sells very well because it takes out all the hard work. Can be combined with the smooth bootlid we also offer. |
