Caravan Rallies at KRUFC |

The rally field is level mown grass with easy
access. As an alternative, if the weather is very bad there is plenty of
hard standing. A fine modern clubhouse with bar, TV and a dance floor is
available plus separate gents and ladies toilets and showers. There are
good views all around the field and a walk to exercise the dogs is
available. Keighley is easy to get to from Skipton, a few miles north,
Ilkley a few miles east, Bradford to the south and Colne to the west. The
site isavialable early May to late August.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Shopping here is first class with excellent 'character' shops and markets plus all the large national chains such as M&S and Sainsbury. The town has restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes and wallets. There is a cinema, two golf clubs and ten pin bowling. Close by is Cliffe Castle combining an historic house, art gallery and museum (free) in a parkland setting. There is also East Riddlesden Hall (National Trust) and Haworth and all the Bronté memorabilia to visit. You can travel to Haworth on the famous Worth Valley Steam Railway (as seen in The Railway Children). Access is easy to the Leeds/Liverpool Canal with towpath walks to Silsden and Skipton in one direction and the famous Five-Rise Locks at Bingley in the other. return to the rally field can be made by the frequent bus service. Or have a cruise on the canal, hiring a boat for the day! The area is splendid for rambles and information on the routes can be provided. You can be sure of a really good holiday, be it a week or a weekend; Yorkshire welcomes you and awaits you with club members willing to do all they can to help.
