Keighley Rugby Union Club was founded by a group of old boys from Keighley Boy's Grammar School in 1920 and has therefore been providing healthy recreation for the young people of the area for over 75 years.

Keighley's first team now plays in Yorkshire Division 1. On average we are able to field three sides each week at senior level and an occasional Veterans XV providing social rugby for those unwilling to hang up their boots.

At youth level, we have a thriving section which plays and practices on Sunday mornings. We have teams ranging from Under 7 through to Under 19 Colts. Each team has its own manager/coach and where possible additional helpers. They even have their own dedicated website (click here). We were one of the pioneers when junior/mini rugby first appeared on the scene and reached our Silver Jubilee in the 1995/96 season.

The Social Side

The Club Room Bar

As a social venue, Keighley RUFC has few equals, which is why it has been so hugely popular for all types of function for all sectors of the community and a perfect setting for our club functions. Club-hire packages enable  non-members and companies to use our superb facilities at very attractive rates. Whether it is a wedding reception, birthday or Christmas do. Even trade exhibitions or business meetings can be catered for, with the facilities and professional back-up to make sure your event is a winner.
