Supported Lodgings Scheme

This scheme aims to provide young people with lodgings in caring homes. Lodgings providers are families, couples or single people who have an understanding and appreciation of young people and a spare room that they are willing to let to a young person. There is no maximum or minimum stay and all placements are assessed on a regular basis. A HIT worker remains in contact with both the provider and the young person.

If you have a spare room, can offer some support and advice to a young person and would be willing to accept housing benefit then we would love to hear from you!
