
56057 frames were built on 3rd September 1978, completed and painted 25 February 1979, ran a 4X31 test train 23rd March 1979.
56057 was the second loco to receive the E.W.S. livery when launched which was celebrated by it's naming "British Fuels" at Aberdeen Guild Street Yard on 27th June 1996.
56057 was withdrawn from service and parked in store at the Imingham depot in 1999.
56057 arrived at the N.V.R. on 8th July 2004 from the Imingham depot,

56057 has been restarted and is seen here returning from Yarwell Junction with a small train on a test run.

56057 is currently being restored and will in due course be painted large logo blue.
