Mark & Judy are members of Harrow Camera Club (HCC). Both are former President/Chairman of the Club, and Mark has served over 20 years as an officer besides other committee roles. Mark is currently Secretary.

Judy has been the Competitions Secretary of the Federation of North West London Photographic Societies (NWFed) since 2000, where she does all the work of organising the matches. Mark assists, and has been the Secretary since 2005.
These pages include the Rules; up to date results of matches and awards of stars etc. in the current year; and an archive of results from previous years.

CACC

Mark was the Treasurer of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs (CACC) from 1998 to 2007, and was the CACC organiser for the PAGB InterFederation Print Competitions and Exhibition in 2004, and for the PAGB Awards Event in 2005. He rejoined the Committee in 2009 as the PAGB Representative, and manages the website from 2010. Mark is on their judging panel, while both Mark and Judy are on their lecturing list.
The CACC website includes news; events; and links to camera clubs in the region.

Technical Standards

Mark & Judy achieved the CPAGB distinction in 1998.
Mark was the CACC member on the Executive of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) from 2003 to 2007, and rejoined the Executive from 2010. Mark ran the Permanent Collection Project in 2004; was a member of the Patronage Committee 2004-2007; and chaired the Technical Standards Committee 2005-2007. Currently he is a member of the Inter-Club Print Championship Committee.
Mark received the meritorious service award (APAGB) in 2007, and Judy received hers in 2011.

The Technical Standards website includes all the background information, research and reports on Projected Digital Images. The Committee’s final report ‘Projected Digital Images - Standards for Events’ was approved by the Executive in 2007.

RPS
Thames Valley Region

Mark & Judy achieved the LRPS distinction in 2002. Our LRPS panels are shown in our gallery. Mark achieved the ARPS distinction for Research and Application in Photography in 2008 (see complete ARPS application). Mark is the Regional Organiser for the Thames Valley Region of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), and is the regional representative on the Society’s Advisory Board. Judy is on the Committee of the Thames Valley Region.

Scoring Machine

Mark has made a competition scoring machine with the capacity for up to 8 judges scoring 1-5, with other configurations also available. See the design.

Reports

Mark is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Chartered IT Professional, and Chartered Engineer. He is on the Committee of the London & South East Region of BCS Health, having previously served as the Treasurer, the Newsletter Editor and, from 2003-2010 as the President.

NW London Cancer Network

Mark is a patient representative on the Upper GI & Pancreatic Tumour Working Group for the North West London Cancer Network. If you have any views on cancer services (but not any personal clinical enquiries), particularly relating to oesophageal, stomach, pancreatic, liver, gall-bladder, bile duct, ampullary or small bowel cancer, then please feel free to contact by e-mail (see below).

Mark is on the User Partnership Group of the NW London Cancer Network, and on the Cancer Patient Panel for London Health Programmes.

Mark & Judy are pleased to support fundraising for the HepatoBiliary Surgery Unit of Hammersmith Hospital.
