Pashabağları

A tourist landmark, Pashabağları (Pasha’s vinyard) has fairy chimneys with deep
caps. One with a triple top was formerly
the hermitage of St Simeon Stylites, who went on to become famous for living
on top of a column in Antioch.
Some of the vineyard is in the foreground. Vines grow well here in the very deep and well-drained
volcanic soil.
