Cappadocia to Egirdir / Sultan Hanı

This and the remaining pictures in this gallery were taken on a single trip from Cappadocia via Konya to Lake Eğirdir.  Hans or caravanserays were regularly spaced on the main roads of the area when Konya was the capital of the Selçuk sultans of Rum.  Today, Sultan Hanı is a stopping off point for tourists as it is 2 hours from Cappadocia.  The picture shows the imposing and partly restored entrance gate.
