Ayşe features in the Lonely Planet guide to Turkey as the joint proprietor, with husband Mustafa Gökdal, of the Sefa Sega pansyon on Yeşil Ada (Green Island).  Mustafa was away at the market, and her brother-in-law is seen repairing the roof of their traditional village house.
