Hi
there Snowsports people wherever you are. Welcome
to the homepage of the Friends of Newmilns Dry Ski Slope. We
are a community group which is working towards the development of the Dry Ski
Slope facility at Newmilns in Ayrshire, South West Scotland. The
Slope was in a poor state of repair with the Council under investing in the
facility over a number of years. We
are looking for support from the local and wider community in our bid to bring
about changes to the slope. As of 29th May 2001 East Ayrshire Council have agreed to hand over the running of the slope to a community based management group on which the Friends are represented. If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the ski slope please contact us using the details below. There is a membership fee of £5 for individuals and £20 for companies which will be used to fund our efforts. Cheques should be made out to "Friends of Newmilns Ski Slope" More details can be found if you click here. You can see from the During pictures what we have achieved so far. Things are improving. We now have a part time manage on site. Snow boarding has been introduced and user numbers are increasing. The is a plan of action which can be seen by clicking here If you can help let us know. See you at the slope Soon!
