I work as an HCA at Leighton hospital after years working at the Leonard Cheshire Home in Sandbach, but for the past four years I have been a qualified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist & stress manager.

I had worked at the "Leonard Cheshire Home" for 19 years. I originally went there on a Y.T.S. scheme then took the post when it became available. I decided to change jobs in 2004 by first starting as part time "bank" staff then left the home to become a full time bank staff member. A permanant position became available in the Eye Care Centre in April 2005 so that's where I am now.
I met Martyn in 1987 when he came to the home on a programme to help teach the clients to work with computers & to help them develop their own skills with new technology.
I have one older brother, Andrew, who lives in Derby & works in the aero industry at Rolls Royce Derby.
My personal interests include Aromatherapy & hedgehogs as well as reading various books, working out word based puzzles & doing cross stitch. I also enjoy gardening, but with only a small front garden & limited space at the back, most of my plants are in tubs or containers.
Being an Aromatherapist I like using natural based cosmetics & bath products that have not been tested on animals. I have found a wonderful firm called "Lush", which has a shops in the U.K., as well as abroad. They also have an excellent mail order business if you cannot get to their shops.
