This page is dedicated to one of my favourite hobbies :- reading !!
Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed getting my head into a good book & reading.
I like to read all kinds of different style of books, but I do enjoy reading fiction novels by Catherine Cookson, Maeve Binchy, Rosamund Pilcher & Elizabeth Elgin.
I have read all the books by Flt Lt John Nicol & more often than not I buy them directly from him when we go to Waddington airshow & get them signed (thanks a lot John & can't wait for the next one...).
I also have just brought a signed copy of "Charlotte Grey" by Sebastain Faulks which is based on the activities of the women in the S.O.E. (Special Operations Executive).
I like to read non-fiction & when Martyn & I go to airshows & museums I like to try to find books on the subject of women involved in WW2 i.e. in the Wrens, W.A.A.F. & the nursing services.
With my other interests I have amassed over 25 different books relating to Aromatherapy & complimentary therapies. My collection of gardening, cookery & Formula one books is growing steadily.
Magazines also interest me & I regularly buy "Aromatherapy & well being"; "The International Therapist" as well as "Gardeners World" & "Autosports".
