We were supporting our two favourite charities:

Action on Elder Abuse:

National Osteoporosis Society:

Here are some photos taken on the walk:
We did a charity walk in May 2009 from Foreland Point, the northernmost place in our home county, Devon, to Prawle Point, the southernmost place. This was a distance of about 104 miles and it took six and a half days to do the walk.
About to start out at the most northerly point, oblivious to what lay ahead, having climbed two miles down the steepest hill ever only to have to climb up again, as cars are not allowed down to our starting point.
Nearly there! The village of East Prawle is the last community before we reached the most southerly point, about a mile further on.
Our family appeared just as we were about to reach the rocks of the most southerly point, Prawle Point.
Feet in the English Channel at the end.
.
And here is the end result - £1018.70 shared between the two charities:
Thank you to everyone who donated
