This is a trade card for Ball's 'Health Preserving' Corsets, issued by the Chicago Corset Co. of Chicago, Illinois; the corsets were for sale at Thomas Henderson's store of dry goods and fancy articles in Oswego, New York state. The advertisement on the back of the card claimed that Ball's coiled spring elastic section corset needed no breaking in, and guaranteed a refund if not perfectly satisfactory in every respect.
